Our US partner facility is home to one of the most decorated high school basketball programs in America. Head Coach Kevin Boyle has produced 8 national championships, 25+ NBA draft picks and 4 #1 overall picks. Australian athletes train in the same environment, with the same coaches, using the same methodology.
SPIRE basketball teams regularly play against US college programs — giving Australian athletes direct, real-time exposure to the standard they’re competing for. US college coaches visit the campus as part of their active recruiting activities.
NCAA Division I men’s and women’s basketball programs actively recruit Australian players. Australian athletes have been drafted into the NBA, WNBA and played in top European leagues. The path is proven — the challenge is getting on the right coaches’ radar at the right time.
Our facility’s football (soccer) program — SPIRE FC Cleveland — competes against MLS academies and international programs at junior level. Australian athletes aren’t training in isolation; they’re in a genuinely competitive international environment where US college coaches and professional scouts visit regularly.
The US college football (soccer) pathway is one of the most active in international sport. Both men’s and women’s programs recruit heavily from Australia and internationally. The key is getting a professional assessment and the right video in front of the right coaches.
NCAA soccer is one of the most internationally diverse college sports, and one of the most active recruiting grounds for Australian players. Men’s and women’s programs at D1, D2 and D3 all recruit internationally. A strong Showcase Game performance, backed by a professional player profile, is often enough to open conversations with multiple programs at once.
NCAA volleyball programs — particularly women’s — offer some of the most scholarships per program in US college sport. The international recruiting pipeline is active and growing, with Australian athletes increasingly on the radar of US coaches. The challenge is access and visibility.
Our facility has dedicated competition-grade volleyball courts and US coaches regularly scout on campus. Athletes assessed here gain real, documented exposure to the level required.
NCAA volleyball is one of the clearest international recruitment pathways in US college sport. Women’s volleyball in particular has a very high ratio of scholarships to athletes across D1, D2 and D3. Coaches actively seek tall, athletic international players with strong technical skills. Men’s volleyball, while fewer programs, also recruits internationally. A professional assessment and showcase game video is the single most effective way to get in front of US volleyball coaches.
